Trash to treasure

In Oct. my friend Janet and I took a trip to Ohio, an oh that was fun. We decided to stay over night so we would have time to check out P. Rawlinsons shop and spend a day at the Bob Evans farm festival in Rio Grand. Well on the way to the farm we passed this very large flee market we knew we had to check out on the way back an we did. I found several things I wanted to paint, we came home with a full car an did not get to see everything we just didn't have time.
This little table came from that flee market, forgot to take a before pic it was a plain brown I thought it needed some color.

The birdies breakfast

Well we really had some wind last night and it blew over the post that the Mr. Put up to hold the bird feeder and the light. I took a picture of it laying on the ground but for some reason I can,t get it load so you can see, but any way the poor birdies wanted to eat so I had to mend the feeder (it got a little beat up) I then just set it on the bird bath. It,s working for now but the Mr. Is gona have to get the post back before the other animals figure out that they can reach the food.

Mountaineer Decorative Artist

Well yesterday was meeting day for the artist group and i taught a Jamie Mills Price design, well part of the design from the book of Painted Quilts (wow what a good book) on a mouse pad. IF you have never tryed this (painting on a mouse pad) its so cool and you can pick them up every where for free, businesses give them away with their logos on them. It was a good class because we have such good people to paint with. OH and the food, so good, we never go hungrey at these meetings.

Painting slate again

Well i,m painting slate again, this is a design from one of the Between the vine books, love these books. This was done on a clock but i left the clock face off. I also painted the bear on a couple of memory boxes for the childrens hospital in Morgantown.

OK I,m posting this because you have to try this sandwich, its so good, its almost as good as the one they have at Garfields Restaurant well maybe as good.
