Mountaineer Decorative Artist

Well yesterday was meeting day for the artist group and i taught a Jamie Mills Price design, well part of the design from the book of Painted Quilts (wow what a good book) on a mouse pad. IF you have never tryed this (painting on a mouse pad) its so cool and you can pick them up every where for free, businesses give them away with their logos on them. It was a good class because we have such good people to paint with. OH and the food, so good, we never go hungrey at these meetings.

Well i,m painting slate again, this is a design from one of the Between the vine books, love these books. This was done on a clock but i left the clock face off. I also painted the bear on a couple of memory boxes for the childrens hospital in Morgantown.

BOY O BOY it is cold out this morning 0.67, and the doggies did not like going out in fact i had to carry the two boys back in they were so cold they could not move, have to watch them close when its so cold out. Our little girl Savanna has such thick hair that she likes it when its cold so she has no problem going out in this but she hates the summer so i get her hair cut short for the summer, i hate doing that but it makes her happy. I just like the long hair on the Yorkies.

Wow, i was sure hoping i would be blogging more and adding pictures of what i have been working on, but some how my computor picked up a darn virus so pic,s are out for now. I,m using my hubby,s laptop for the basics and i,m going crazy with out my own computor, hope to have it well soon. WHAT,S HAPPENING. Well still going to Lucky,s Attic Thrift Store on tuesdays, have to help raise money for the animals. Saturday my sister Mag and i went to the Mountaineer Decorative Artist Group meeting, what fun. We painted an America the Beautiful sign a Kim Klassen design taught by fellow member Janet Hylton, she,s such a good and easy going teacher, we all love when she teaches. Next month another member Carol Keller will be teaching a close up of a Polar Bear, can,t wait for that one, i have been begging Carol for this one. I am working on my next submishion for Polymer Cafe Magazine, hope it gets published too. Fingers crossed.
